Itinerary

The cyclists will be split up into several smaller groups of mixed nationality. The expected average daily distance will be 70-80 km. The route will be "green" in most parts, i.e. on minor roads with little or no traffic. As the countryside will mostly be flat, the ride is not too demanding as far as physical fitness is concerned. Nevertheless, a fully-functional bike with gear shift, waterproofs and panier bags will be needed. (If you cannot bring a bike, please let us know. There is a chance of renting out or borrowing the neccessary equipment for overseas participants.) There will be several support vehicles for food and repairs and for emergency transport. Accommodation and catering will be supplied in youth hostels. Communication will be in German and/or English (see register).
