Twin Town Environmental Rally and Cycle Tour
Wuppertal - Schwerin - Berlin

The Global Friendship Bike Ride is being held in order to publicise the Green Route idea - peace, twin town friendship and cycling - and to encourage
people along the route to join in and start similar town twinning activities in their home towns.
An international group of 50-60 cyclists will set off on a "cycle rally" from Wuppertal to Berlin to promote sustainable transport and global twin town friendship. In many places along the route global friendship publicity events will be organized. The cyclists will be welcomed by the local press and official town hall representatives (see itinerary).
Local cyclists are happily invited to join in for parts of the ride.
